Blackpoint Cyber,, a company known for providing cybersecurity solutions has appointed John N. Stewart (former Cisco’s Senior VP and Chief Security and Trust Officer) in its board of directors lineup and has announced raises in Series B round. Stewart has over 3 years of experience in the industry and has also served on the cybersecurity review panel of the Australian Department of prime minister and Cabinet. Moreover, Talons venture is also founded by Stewart. Blackpoint Cyber is growing like never before and recently the company has released MDR 4.0. MDR 4.0 is the company’s initial step towards making a hybrid managed detection and response system. 

Regarding his appointment to the Blackpoint Cyber board of directors, John N. Stewart says, “I’ve been seeking something like this out for a very long time.
