William Madison, a member of Masergy left the company earlier this year to work for Avaya. According to sources, Madison is now returning to the networking company and will serve as vice president of alliances, distributors and international markets. Key role of William will be diverting partners into the new Masergy partner program. Masergy said, “He’ll also work to expand new channel sales routes for Masergy on a global scale”. 

Earlier this month the company released its Zenith Partner Program, targeting agents, master agents, and technology partners, and increased training and marketing resources. 

William Madison joined Avaya in January in order to lead the company’s North America cloud channel sites. He played an important role in launching the Avaya Cloud Office platform. Masergy recently changed its portfolio to improve SD-WAN performance. With this new strategy, it also aims to meet the requirements of Gartner’s Secure Access Service Edge. Madison appreciated the vendor over this move.
