Founded in 2015, Huntress, a company built to provide professional cybersecurity for SMBs has just reached a momentous milestone. On May 6th, they announced that they have reached $40 million dollars in funding for their Series B.
Led by JMI equity with additional support from Forgepoint Capital and Gula Tech Adventures, the fundraising round had pushed them over this $40 million mark and closer towards their goal of making effective cybersecurity affordable for all.
Huntress’s partners have always been firm supporters of their missions and values, matching their own commitment to the channel. The partnerships will ensure their continued focus on developing their platform, accelerating their roadmap but most of all, continuing to educate and empower SMBs to protect themselves and their clients.
Looking forward, Huntress will continue to grow and we can expect Huntress to manage “preventive solutions”. Antivirus, firewalls, increasing visibility on network and cloud-based email threats. Given vigor by the recent events, Huntress’s team will double down their efforts to drive forward their mission and see to it that SMBs are safeguarded from online threats.
